ANITIMICROBIAL COATING

Antimicrobial coating is a protective lacquer that incorporates an Anti­microbial Surface Modifier which inhibits the growth of bacteria and microorganisms for frequently-touched architectural surfaces.  

It uses nitrocellulose and a silver compound, which creates a protective barrier against harmful microorganisms, such as viruses, bacteria and fungus, and best of all, it has been laboratory tested to be 99.9% effective at protecting your surfaces from these harmful organisms.  

This product, once applied is completely invisible and odorless, and it dries in minutes. It doesn’t leave any sort of residue and typically needs to be reapplied once a year. Silver has been an element that has been used for centuries for its antimicrobial effects, and has been typically used in the medical field, such as with scalpels and tools for surgery, because it prevents infection but has been more recently introduced into the global market as a way of making frequently-touched surfaces safer.  

This coating can be applied to door handles, door knobs, elevator push buttons, hand rails and so on. It will save you time and money from having to constantly have to wipe down these areas with harsh chemicals.
